I'm planning to build my first pc,theres an INTEL PENTIUM D 945 + ECS P4M800PRO-M motherboard for 180 dollars ,in a local computer store,does this sound like a good deal?

yes 180 for both they also have an amd athlon 64 processor 3800 + abit nf-95 motherboard for a60 dollars.

havent really figured out,i currently have a toshiba desktar hd 250 gb,and i also have a non working compaq presario that i could borrow the case,floppy,dvd from.

im not really familiar with prices and the 180 dollars for the mobo and cpu seemed like a good deal.

whats your input should i go ahead and buy it? this is going to be my first pc so it doesmt have to be top of the line,Im mostly going to use it to sur the web store music,picture and the ocasional game....your usual house pc.
