Ok, finally got all my new parts, all installed, working ok on an ATX psu, even though its an EATX mobo.......not sure how that is effecting it, but it seems fine. Anyway, my new hdd i bought says that its 320gb, but windows is only reading 127gb. There doesnt appear to be any jumper settings, and there wasnt any drivers for it........anyone know what could be causing this?

Also, i just noticed my 7300GS temps are really high, way higher then my 6800s were. Is this a problem? I havent done any modifying or OCing on the card at all. I dont even know what the stock settings are yet. But it idles at 60c and load is around 70c or above. When i saw the temps i felt the heatsink and back of the card and neither one felt very hot, not 70c hot. Is this normal for the 7300GS?

I just looked at some benches with the 7300GS 256mb, it seems to be an ok card, scored bout 1k less in 05 and 06 then my 6800 did.......not bad really, i just wont be able to game at high res over 1024x768 and with AA
Those benchmarks are not to be trusted. Consider, Doom3, a game nVidia cards are good at, 7300GS 256MB
Oh and the base 6800
There's simply no comparison ... take 80fps vs 22fps.

Ok. Yea, i know my 6800 smokes it, but for $76, its not a bad card, you just have to lower the resolution and AA in some games, but it does ok.

Is your copy of Windows Pre-SP1? Update to SP1 or SP2, go into Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Disk Management, and assign the extra space to a partition from there (or you can allocate it to an existing partition using software like Partition Magic).

Ok, the second thing you mentioned worked, and now i can use the other part for storage and ditch my PATA hdd, unless i REALLY start running out of space, which i doubt it. Thanks.
