Default Triple Monitor support?

Is it possible to support 3 monitors with 2 connected to my graphic card's vga and dvi port, and then the 3rd monitor connected to my onboard graphics, and have them all work correctly and have one has my main desktop and the other 2 as extra?

Your integrated will be disabled if you are using an add on card. In other words, no, you wouldnt be able to do that unless you were SLiing, i think, and even then, i think you can only use two monitors.

My motherboard says i can enable my onboard graphics with my add on card for dual monitor support, but doesn't mention triple, and i ahve turned on my onboard card and still used my add on graphics with the card just on,i have not tried dual monitoring with it yet though.

Well, that is good news, but i doubt you can run three with that setup. Try it out, but i have to go away for the next three days and wont see your reply. Good luck.

I dont think so. I have never been able to run three monitors before with my dads comp. I have always had to have two video cards. Why dont you try it and see?

dude once you have the add on card the onboard videocard is done what i suggest doing if you want a third monitor is buy a cheap pci card that has 1 vga on it and if you have a card already supporting dual monitors then you should get three. im trying to get mine to put up 3 or 4 maybe four... ebay has cheap pci cards and even though they are low quality i dont mind because i dont game much.

I've never heard of someone using their on board and an add-in video card at the same time. It might work if you go through your mobo's manual and check it out.

If you had one of those older motherboards with 6 PCI slots and an AGP slot you could run as many as 28 monitors, maybe more. It's not limited to just 3 or 4.
