so my dad wants to put a cctv system in his workplace. 3 cameras at the most. i was thinking rather than buying a whole dvr system, can i take a spare computer i got laying around (a decent one) and load some software on it to make it record. i know i can get a 4 channel dvr pci card, but is ther any software that will run with windows, so he can surf the net and check his mail whens hes there?
