Default Internet and IDD (international direct dialing)

Hi there ,
I'd like to ask a question concerning DSL internet connection and IDD (international direct dialling ).
Long time ago , I used Dial-up connection to access the internet . Due to the IDD capabilty of my phone line , I was usually worried about spywares like automatic dialers , which (without user's knowledge) make expensive IDD calls when I went to unknown websites. Now , I'm using ADSL , which still depends on the telephone line , will such kind of thing (IDD calls when surfing on net ) still occur or not ? And how is it with ISDN and Cable connection ?
Thanks in advance.

Default

those dialers only work with dialing modems, DSL and Cable modems don't work the same way
