Default help no sound

hey guys i recently put together my computer and i havent had time to actually set it up yet...but now that i did...hook it up to the monitor and everything...it seems that everything is working fine...EXCEPT the sound...there is no sound...ok so i basically i have the gigabyte S 965 mother board which supports dual core and it comes with things already attached...like usb hubs...but there are six sound thingys...that i don't know what their for...and i'm plugging my speaker to them but none of them work...can anyone help me? thanx

whut kinda speakers is it? 5.1, 7.1, regular ones?

does the word "drivers" ring a bell? you have to install your mother board sound driver, it should be on one of the disks you got with the mother board. either that or look for one on google.

Also, check your BIOS to make sure your sound chip's enabled if you're using onboard sound, DISabled if you're using a sound card you've installed.

yea...i've installed my drivers...and i've been to bios...but it still wont work...the problem is...there are six output plugs for sound in the back of my computer...i have no idea which one to plug into and i tried all of them...it still dont work
