Default Can i download a Linux OS trial?

I just wanna see how linux is, interface performance oprtions. So can i download it as a trial.

If you can get one of there nifty magazines...it contains a free cd of Linux

Dont know about downloading though

U cannot download a trial because Linux is free, there wudn't b a need for a trial version. If u get a Linux mag for a look shop or summit they usually come with a version that boots from cd, i.e. Knoppix.

Go out and buy a magazine, that comes with a free linux distro that boots from cd, like i said earlier.

Well, i thought so, thta it is free but i found a red hat linux installed on on of the pcs and i searched for it, i think it was a server, and it gave me prices and stuff.

U can buy Linux from shops etc but u can download it and get distros of magasines

www.linux.org has lots of stuff about linux (who woulda thought ), you can find downloads there or books/magazines that will have a linux distro on it

..you can download these for free off mirror sites (use google)

or you can buy a set of cd's for any distros for under $5.

some will run right from the cd without installing a think and others will need a new partition.
