Boss has been around for several years now...not sure exactly how many but i've seen them at least 4 years ago, and yes you are right in saying they have a cheap 'image' in the market place. I currently have a Boss 1000W 4CH AMP in my car...not that im promoting them, its just that i have an old cheap car and didnt want to spend lots of money on a sound system for it, but anyway, the Boss gets the job done.
Are you saying that you are using 4 of the 12' subs for your front left & right speakers??? If you do this i fear that you will overpower the dialog, trebble & midtones when watching movies & listening to music. I would suggest dropping them down to about a 10' or even 8' size.
Have you thought about what tweeters & woofers your going to use?
is that 75w/ch or 75w total? From what you've said, it looks like your planing on running the 4 12' subs and woofers straight off the deck wont you need an AMP...for each channel!
you should get alot of "rumble" out of the 15' but have you thought about going for 2x 12' for the SUB....i believe this will give you tighter/better response.
Will be good to see how it all goes though....make sure you post the pics for us while you do it.
My Car system is currently an old Clarion Deck(think its 75w/ch), 4x 6' Clarion mids, Boss 4CH 1000W AMP, No-name Sub.
My Home HiFi / Theater system is;
Reciever/AMP = Harmon Kardon AVR-635 (7.1ch 75W RMS High Current. 0.07%THD)
Front L&R Speakers = Dynaudio - Audience 62 (Floor standing, 150W, 4ohm)
Haven't forked out the money for the rest of them yet.

Im gonna have enough speakers to keep up with the 4 12" believe me lol. Im gonna make sure everything is equal, though i like my bass so thats why im kickin the 15", but i might need 2 15" so i can bridge the amp on 4 ohms.
The 75watts is 75watts RMS, 150watt max component system. Its not really an AMP, but it has a pretty powerful amp in it. I think later though im gonna buy a new component system to power it, at least 200watts RMS. The reason im not using a reciever is becuz for the power i need, the reciever with that amount of power would cost me way more then a component system of equal power. Yes, i relize that its becuz there is alot more channels, but to be honest, as of now im not interested in having more then 2 channels. Maybe someday i will get a good reciever to power it all, but for now just component.
You gave me a good idea though, for the 2 12" on each side i could get a small 150watt or 200watt RMS amp to power them.
And to the other comment, yes it would be smarter to go with a higher end company such as maybe JBL, but what im trying to do here is build a great sounding loud system without spending thousands of dollars. One that will amaze many. And with my experience with Boss Audio, their prices are great for the quality iv seen and heard.
Oh, and you say that Boss Amp is 1000watt max that your using? How good does it sound and does it get pretty loud? I might get one to power my 12" Premier in my car......pry a higher end model amp, but iv never used a Boss amp so i dont know about their quality, i like their subwoofers though. Good bump for the the price tag.
