Default Old monitor takes 15 or more minutes to lightup

I have this old monitor i used to play a lot of games with, now it takes more time to light up. i guess its the refresh rate or the changing resolution every time the games start. and it heats up pretty bad on the back.

Default

The simple solution is to replace it with an lcd model since they have a longer running time. Crts always go after some 17,000 to 19,000 hrs. while some model lcd monitors are rated upto close to 48,000 to 50,000. Most average around 30,000 to 35,000.
