Default enough security or not?

ok, so i got some questions and a problem. lol. here we go

do u guys think that having ewido 4.0 plus alone is good enough and no need for norton system works? or should i have both?

now my problem, there somin wrong wit my norton goback. after i did the hijacklog and stuff to fix my virus problem. now i go and enable it. it says ur computer will restart in the process. yada yada starts instaling but notin happens. so i try to uninstall it, but when i do i get this message:

"Error 25032. Windows has configured drive C: for MS-DOS Compatibility mode. This is preventing Norton GoBack from uninstalling.

Disable Norton GoBack from the Norton GoBack Boot Menu then try uninstalling again"

welll... ok.. only 1 problem. its already disabled and...... there is no GoBack boot menu.....hah. i also tried uninstalin it in safemode, but that didnt work.

so yea....any help is greatly appreciated guys.

P.s. also answer my question about the AV's

Ewido is a spyware tool and having another anti-virus utility with it will help. As far as your Noton problem; Norton has always had numerous uninstallation problems with their programs. If you can use something other than Norton, I'd prefer that if I was you.

As far as removing it, you can try this tool:

Same tool here, but with a little overview of how to use it.

Hehe the only uninstall of Norton i trust is the Windows installer

Does "use last known good settings" work?
