Default Popping The Collar

Who does it?
This may seem like a pointless thread, but it really isn't:

Tomorrow school starts so i was deciding my clothes and stuff to wear, and i usually pop my collar.

I was talking to my friend online about what he is wearing to his first day of school. He said he doesn't pop his collar because his friends tell him its gay, and only fags do it.
So then i asked him "Have guys said it's gay?"
He said, "yes"
I said " have girls told u its gay? or to the effect?"
He said "no"
I said "have girls complemented u on it?"
He said "yes"

ALot of people think it is a dumb new trend... But no matter how faggotty it seems it DOES get girls....

for every guy that has told me that the popped collar a girl has complemented me on it, and no girl has told me to put it down (not counting my grandma)
and one of my friends who is prolly the biggest ladies man i ever met is the same way...

so, what do u think of popped collars? do u think the fact:
Quote:
for every guy that has told me that the popped collar a girl has complemented me on it, and no girl has told me to put it down
is reason enough to pop the collar...

so i am curious to what computer guys think of the popped collar...

my first guess is it will be negative... i'm curious to see if i'm right...

think about it... 2 7900GTs:
7900+7900=15800
that is obviously a much higher number than 7950...

rofl. You know, that trend was popular back in the early 80's (I'm thinking back to '83). I remember a kid named Todd who was the only one in our particular class to do it and I thought back then he looked like a complete buffoon. I still do when I think about it. He was so proud of himself, bragging that the collar never had a crease in it. It still makes me laugh to this day.

I guess 80's is coming back in, but do people even realize how absolutely retarded they look? The 80's looked stupid back then. I mean, REALLY stupid. Don't bring it back. It died a painful death for a reason. It makes you look like a dork. Remember all the girls with the big hair, big earings, stupid skirts and tons of makeup? Oh man.. Don't do it. You might think it's cool, but believe me, it's anything but. That's like trying to bring back plaid and corduroys. That didn't work either.

Trust me, if you want to get the girls, get a current hair style and shop at Randy River and stuff. Get some Axe body spray or Alfred Sung cologne (even Adidas seems to attract them, but I like my Alfred) and you will attract the girls. Trust me, I've done it many times. I buy Enyce, Ecko, Tommy Hilfiger, Randy River, Kenneth Cole, etc. I always, always, always had a girlfriend, so I must be doing something right.

Don't look like a geek. Don't dress like a geek. People don't like geeks. They get made fun of and bullied. The chess club is not your friend.

Good luck to you with starting school and all.

I think it looks pretty dumb, not necessaraly gay, but if someone at our school did that, he would be called gay, or fag.

I've only noticed preps doing that. Well, the poll question is somewhat confusing. The question is "What do u think of this trend?", but some of the choices are "Yes I Do" and "No I DOn't (its gay as hell)"...
