which one??

Im getting a e6400 processor and now I'm just trying to figure out which motherboard I should get. I've picked out a few...I just dont know which one I should go with. Also, Im trying to keep the price in the 150 range...

I dont know the difference between these two, besides that one has onboard video(and that one's only $1 more):

The preference here is on the Asus. But the decision you make should be on the type of case you are building. For a gaming case you wouldn't have any use for the onboard video seen on the second link for that Gigabyte model. All three run DDR2 800mhz dimms upto 8gb along with 6 onboard usb ports.

I perfer Gigabyte to all other brands, the other brands are all too flashy now and dont focus on the feature gigabyte has some awesome features, and are a lot more dependable.

Well thats just my personal opinion.

One Gigabyte model at newegg for under $150 that supports the Core 2 Duo you are planning on is a micro atx board seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128016 But you probably after the full size as posted earlier. The next model up from the two on the links is way over the price limit ar $219. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128323

Since you are favoring Gigabyte you are down to two not three models to choose from. The question now is do you want onboard video or not? For a simple setup without the expense of a video card the onboard video will work for the essential email and web surfing. But if you have a high end burn up from OCing it you would still have something there(hopefully) to keep the system running.

Thanks for the sugguestions. I think Im going to go with the gigabyte with the onboard video. Right now I have an agp card and dont have enough money to get a good pci-e card. So Ill just use the onboard video until I can upgrade.

You won't like it for gaming. But it will keep you going until you can make a choice on the card you want. With a tight budget that wasn't that hard at all to decide on was it?
