Question Vistion tack ati x1300

the tech specs it says that it needs a 250-300 watt power supply. what does that mean? and what do i have to change about my dell 2400 to fit that?

2048 mb ram
2.6 ghz intel prossesor
firewire/usb pci card
possibly tv tuner soon

that link doesn't work. This is just the wattage on your power supply in your case. If you open your case and find your Power Supply Unit (check the top rear of the case) it will have a label giving you the wattage. For your new graphics card you will need at least 250-300 Watts for it.

Most likely you dont have to worry about the PSU with that card. It's a decent card, but don't expect to play games too well on it.

yeah ok i was just confused about if i needed 300watts of power dedicated to the card. i guess i'll just go ahead and put it in thanks!

Are you sure you have the right slot?

And no, the 300W means total for the power supply, not for the card individually.
