Default Finding the right mobo

Really, when im looking for a mobo the main thing i need to look for is if it matches the processor right? So if i get a core duo 2 that is a LGA 775, then i need a mobo that is a LGA 775.

So can any one help me find a PCI-e x16 that is awsome for gaming that can use a core 2 duo? Not over 200$ though.

But if its SLI, does that mean that i need to get a vid card thats SLI and have everything else be SLI also?

The idea of NVidia's SLI or ATI's Crossfire is to run two identical video cards in sync with each other to improve overall video performance as in gaming. Even if the board goes over $200 running two high end video cards will cost far more. The 6 boards in stock at newegg can be looked over at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ubCategory=280
