Default Basic Mobo Questions

Can anyone recomend a fairly cheap (below $300) mobo that supports fas1000 mghz memory (does it have to be ddr3 to get that high?) a pci express ddr3 card and supports core duo and core duo2 processors. Also, do they make mobos that have 2 pci express graphic inputs so i can combine graphic cards? If so pleese provide an example. thanks.

Why on earth are you so dead set in finding a motherboard supporting 1000MHz memory. There is faster memory, but there are basically no motherboards that support it. Bus speeds aren't the only factor in performace. You can spend much less and have a much better computer if you just stick to the average standards.

I recomend not buying a cheap board, bec your entire computer will depend on it.

Ok, before asking more questions, besure to read the 101s, because they contain a bunch of info (Theres no such thing as DDR3 memory, that's only for Graphics memory, read the varius 101 for info), if you have a question after reading the 101s, then make a thread. Now go read, there's plenty of reading to do!
