Default P4@2.8 or Duo@1.86?

Hi all!
I have a P4 at 2.8Ghz on an Asus P4PE motherboard and 1GB of Ram. I am also interested in playing the new Flight Simulator X if someone knows about its requirements. So, I am thinking of upgrating my system and I just saw an "upgrate packet" which includes : motherboard:ASUS P5V-VM DH LGA775 , CPU: INTEL 1,866GHZ 1MB X 2 S775 , and 512 DDR-2 Ram. The price is 300 Euros, so it is a good deal. (http://www.plaisio.gr/IWCatProductPa...&Merchant_Id=1)

My question is whether the Duo cpu at that speed can beat my P4 witch has higher frequency. Would I see any serius difference, or should I wait for the prices to drop and save more money to buy a 2.8Ghz duo cpu? I would be really grateful to hear your opinion.

Regards,
Ifikratis

The Duo is futureproof for sure. The multiplier is locked but you could still o/c it a bit.. FSX is demanding (I love the demo!), so I'd say wait a bit and get your Duo! (An E6400 would do nicely..)
