Clock Resetting

Ok now this is getting frustrating, I have reset the time on my parents HP desktop clock (time) 4 times in less than a week. For some reason it wont keep time, it keeps reseting. WHats the deal?

the CMOS battery is probably going....

Agreed. Replace the battery and it should do fine.
