How many processes are you running?

I got this idea after helping my room mate with his laptop. He got it just before starting college this semester, so everything on it was fresh. He had 75 freakin processes running!!!

OK, so what do you guys have on average. If you need help(

) press Ctrl-Alt-Del and look at the bottom bar. To the left you should see "Processes: xx"

Just for the records, I have 33 running on my desktop, and dad has 60 running on his!

I have only 9 processes on bootup, on avarage I have ~15.

Wow dude... How'd you get so low? I thought a fresh copy of windows typcially has more than that!

Actually it has, but I like my Windows tweaked

Well I've tweaked mine a good bit to keep it around 35...but damn. I take it you don't have a firewall or anything running?
