Unfortunately we need a whole lot more information than that to help you make a decision.

Well, if you don't give us a budget, then we assume you don't have one.

Hey guys, im looking to do the exact same thing. I was originally converting an old Dell, but after some consideration i relaise that the Dell case will be too much of a pain to upgrade so im starting from scratch.

I need a motherboard that will handle Intel's Core 2 Duo processor, and my hard drives, which will be 2 Western Digital 10k rpm Raptor's. I know very little about motherboards so if someone could point me in the direction of learning, or give a little advice, id appreciate it very much.

Thanks, JD ~

Also, we need to know what cards you will be putting inside. Some boards physically dont allow GPU's with 2-slot cooling and PCI cards, such as soundcards etc.

No, it isn't the same thread, all situations are different.

Hey, you're excused, you're a new member. Now if I were to do that....

Anyway, back on topic now.
