Mmk, so I'm a n00b to laptops and I was wondering what I would need in a laptop MoBo to enable me to hook it up to my home surround system, so I can use my laptop as a DVD/CD player. I am currently in the market for a laptop so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You would want to get something like this:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102183 and some converters to put it into the audio system. |

Thanks for the help, I'll be hooking it up through A/V cables (red, yellow, white) and I allready have all the adapters...I hooked up a friend's laptop and it didin't come out of any of the speakers, so I wanted to see what you guys had to say. I'll have to look into getting a sound card.
