SigmaTel wont install

I just recently built a computer with an Intel D945psn mobo. I hate this motherboard, and I hate intel because of this motherboard. Anyways the mobo didn't seem to come with any proper audio drivers........

so I tried to find the correct one. I went to the Intel site, searched my board, and found a skimpy list of drivers. I downloaded the SigmaTel driver for the mobo, ran the install and got this little guy on my screen....

Which is funny because it is the correct one.

I checked my Bios setting and my OB Audio is enabled. This is tickin me off. I Have speakers on my monitor, but it is an HP monitor that came with my old Pavilion... maybe it has it's own drivers.

Has anybody run into this problem?

Perhaps you need an alternative place for updates? http://list.driverguide.com/list/company1690/index.html

Also take a look in the device manager under sound and game controllers along trying an update suitable for the operating system you are running. The update you tried may have been for the 64bit not 32bit version of XP?
