Default mobo problems

Hi, i just baught a new computer, part by part.

I purchased a new tower and power supply(500w), a new SATA 3.0gb/s hdd, a new foxconn 6150 geforce mobo, i scavenged a cd and floppy drive.

My mobo sends a signal through the onboard video, but i get nothing on my screen when i put in the drivers cd, i dotn even get the blue screen with the bios, nothing. When i plug in my video card no signal is sent through it. I get one short beep when i turn it on. I have a brand new clean hdd, all the lights on the tower turn on, all the fans turn on, the fan controle in the front works, i'v rewired everythign 2 times. I was instructed to change the jumpers on the mobo to reset the cmos, i moved it and turned it on nothing hapend, so i moved it back and turned it on and still nothing happens. All cords are connected. i have no clue what is the problem. I have all the components i need now its just a matter of wireing and instaling things. i was wondering if i may be overlooking something, i dont know, can some one give me any sugestions (that dont involve changing anything on a screen) taht could help.

this is the hdd

my video card is going to be instaled last because i want to get everything running first, but just for referance i have a radeon 9259 256mb ati graphix card

i will be running windows xp home on this pc

i have looked at other threads and saw some stuff about removing the battery, and someone told me i may have a grounding problem.

please help me

Thank you

I had some stuff typed, but I accidentally refreshed the page -.- Oh well. One thing that really caught my eye with your build, you say nothing about RAM...

Are you saying you got windows installed but when you updated your video drivers you get nothing? The CPU support list for that board only goes to the 3800 on the foxconn site, dont know if that might be a problem?
