Default laptop upgrade?

hey guys i'm thinking about upgrading my laptop...but is that even possible? i want to get a new processor...but i'm afraid my mobo for the laptop wont support it...i'm thinking about putting a new dual core processor in, and maybe a better graphics card...so if any of you can help me...give me some advice...or even instructions would be nice...thanx

I don't know of any laptops where you can do that. You will most likely have to buy a brand new one.

Yeah, about the only thing that you can do with a laptop to upgrade it is to put in more RAM. Sometimes you can put in a bigger hard drive, but that's usually pretty unfeasible... In almost every case, it's easiest and cheapest to completely replace the laptop than upgrade it.

damn...so maybe if i overclock it? but the thing is...my laptop gets really hott already...so what should i do?

You can't overclock it. You have to buy a new one. Unfortunately that's just the way it is.

Laptops are usually always hot because it's so portable unless you look into this specific criteria before purchasing it. If you don't use it on your lap and such and have it on a flat surface most of the time, you can look into getting a cooling fan. Here is what I mean:
