Default Logitech Keyboard problem...

I am on my second Logitech Media Keyboard Elite and am experiencing an annoying problem. As I type a key would drag on like thisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss and it happens without warning. I will also be typing and a letter will just not appear despite typing it, "lke ths" for example. These are both brand new keyboards and the keys do not feel as if they get stuck.

1) Could it be caused by a virus?
2) What about the keyboard settings in the control panel?
3) Maybe this particular keyboard is a piece of garbage?

Please help!!

Are you using PS2 or USB? Try the other connection if possible.

I don't think it'd be from a virus, nor do I think there'd be some setting in the bios. It almost sounds like your computer's just lagging, but without actually using it, I can't say for sure. Heh, though my old Axim x5 used to do that with it's keyboard!

As for the keyboard being garbage, I can't say because I've never used that particular model. However, I have the more basic Internet Pro(if I remember correctly) and it's been a fine keyboard. Not the best I've used, but no such problems.

Generally Logitech model keyboards are right up there with the MS models. You could be having another type of hardware problem like overheating for instance if the PS2 doesn't have any loose connections or cold solder points to the board.
