there is no budget, and it has to be used on a network.

well, pretty much any computer can be used on a network nowadays, have you got any specifics on what you want in it/what you want it to do?

like these would be things I would have to include in a regular computer right? motherboard, RAM, sound car, ROM, output devices, and input devices

would I need: hard drive, peripheral cord, bus system, expansion cards storage devices internal cache?

Ok, your obviously a bit confused, firstly ROM isnt a component, it stands for READ ONLY MEMORY, kind of like a CD-ROM disc or somethign like that.

Component list:
  • Motherboard
  • RAM
  • Processor
  • HardDrive
  • Graphics Card
  • Sound Card
  • Network Interface Card (NIC)
  • Optical Drives (CD/DVD drives)
  • Power Supply Unit (PSU)
  • Case (if applicable)
Peripheral List:
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse
  • Monitor
  • Speakers
  • Printer
Obviously some things in the peripheral list wont be included, like a printer, if its on a network there is most likel a networked printer somewhere so... ya know

Thats about it

Just take the praetor list for the insanely expensive computer and give your teacher a good shock

Finally found it..

It's roughly a $82,000 computer.
