Questions about Creative sound card. HELP PLEASE!

I recently installed the Creative AudioPCI sound card. The sound works fine but the game port isn't working. See the Device Manager screenshot below:

(if you are unsure what the card looks like, go onto google images and type: Creative AudioPCI)

Anyway, i'm unsure how to get the game port up & running.
Also, since i bought this card from a friend and since its pretty old - is it still better than the average onboard audio on today's motherboards?

Edit: sorry i don't have much more information about the card.

have you downloaded the newest drivers from Creative for this card?

and,.. how old is 'pretty old' ? maybe its not supported for window's xp.
beeing honest, i dont have a clue, but those things might be worth checking at
