Default HD recognized under BIOS & Device Manager but doesn't show up in Window Explorer

Just brought a Western Digital Caviar 80GB days ago as an external Backup drive. both BIOS and Device Manager recognized the HD automatically. but no new driver show up in Window Explorer.

Thanks for help

not Cheering... need help =(

Edit: I currently have a SATA 80GB as Master and one IDE 40GB as Slave. IDE is connected with the DVD burner together. it works well.
I had a 60GB IDE as my external Backup driver but I gave it to my friend. I use a IDE-to-USB cable to convert an internal HD to become an external HD.
