Default Barebook/Notebook

I thinking of building my own laptop, and was wondering if anyone knew of an internet site where I could buy notebooks/barebooks (i.e. case+mobo+psu) and have them shipped to the us (and paid in USD). Thx ahead to all that help!

(EDIT) Dont laptops use daughterboards for psu's? just curious...

You can't build a laptop... You can buy some barebones laptops that simply need a processor, RAM, and harddrive, but that's basically it.

That's pretty much all I'm expecting, so do you know where to get barebone laptops? Oh, and BTW: http://www.tomshardware.com/2005/05/...ook/index.html
