Default Half life 2 Question

Hey all,

Any Half-Life 2 fans here?

I just tryed out the demo (Yeah late i know)and its fantastic.

Ive just gotta go and buy it.

Heres a screenshot i took while playing the demo.
My graphics were all set to high and i didnt think it would look this good...

How long is the game? Long?

Also does it have Multiplayer?

I havn't finished the game yet in HL2 but i've been playing it,definitely buy it even if its not very long(cuz i wouldn't know) its still very good and great,plus you get CS:s with it i believe which is always good.

You also get Counter strike with it?

Thats cool.
I was actualy gonna get CS aswell but if you get it with it then thats great.

Cant wait to play the full version

That isnt high, unless you resized the pic you were running it on 800x600, lol.... not exactly high, you want 1024x768 at very least

Not obscenely long, i completed HL2 in around3-4 days, probably about 24 hours if you count up the exact time spent playing. I know of hard core gamers finished it in about 9hours, thats crazy.

Not natively, no, but if you get HL2eathMatch then yes it does, there are also mods you can download such as "SourceForts" and "Garys Mod", google them for more info

Where abouts are you in game, from that screenshot i know you are about 5 mins into ravenholme, following the invasion of the combine on black mesa east just up the river. Lol, i like HL2, its a great game.

Yeah i was running it in 1024x768.

Stupid Photobucket keeps resizing all my images

I didnt know it HL2 was that good.

Worth every penny, you wont regret it, and the Episodic releases are great too, episode 1 is fantastic, i cant wait for episode 2 (the only date given was Q4 of 2006, so imguessing it will be around october novemeber time so its out ready for xmas '06) to get out. God i love it
