ps1 screen to a comp tower

ok i was thumbing threw a magazine i bought and this person had attached a playstation one screen to his computer tower and having it display music, and his computer status and other stuff that was not mentioned

now is there something i can do to make it the same with the ps1 screen or another easier installation screen i can buy or what?

I read about it before as well, you need to open up the LCD screen and re-arrange the wires in order to hook it up via the VGA port.

Yeah, I've read an artical too a while back about switching wires around and using one of those little screens on your PC... I'm sure there are pre made LCDs just as you can find large ones, but I doubt they are any cheaper than most big ones

lol true but ill look around ive got time and ill be building this rig early 07 so... but however ill be workin wiht a brebones kit soon then comes the laptop lol

There was one there as well, in fac they might even tell you how to do it in that thread.

i never thought i would refer someone AWAY from this forum, but this is an EXTREMELYY common case mdo, its definately not anythign new, go to www.bit-tech.net and browse through their modding sectin, there are tonnes of them in there with exact guides etc..
