Spindown time on a CD/DVD-RW?

You would think it would mean the time it takes from the CD to spin at full tilt until it slows down to a stop.

You don't really hear of that mentioned.... You gonna put that in your sig too? Just curious, you got everything else in there...

The Spin-down time is the amount of time taken to reach standard revoloution rate after reaching the drives fastest.

I was going to say it's the time taken for the CD to stop spinning. You can't stop the CD instantly, because then all the data would move.

Some people can fall for anything.
