Default Data Execution Prevention

Hey guys,

I am having a problem with my computer. I am using Windows XP pro and I keep getting a popup that says "Data Execution Prevention" everytime I connect to the internet via Mozilla. But my major problem is that my taskbar and all my shortcut menu option will dissapear for a few seconds and then reappear. During those times, the only thing on my screen is my brackground image and nothing else. Do you guys have any idea what is wrong? I already ran a virus scan from avast. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't know what's causing the problem for sure at this point... My eye is hurting like crazy and I have to make this quick. I WILL tell you that your explorer is crashing. That's why it disappears. It has to restart itself again and then reappear. Obviously you are having some major stability problems there. Get rid of that Mozilla and see what happens. Start surfing with IE. If the problem goes away, then we can diagnose one particular program.

Maybe you should unisstall Mozilla and put in Firefox.
Using IE isn't very good to do, anyway. It's prone to so many viruses because of MS's rare updates.
Or maybe you can try out Maxthon (http://maxthon.com/) it still sues IE, but has ly better stability. It has a few features FF doesn't have, but it's not as widely endorsed. Opera may be another option, but it's closed source, and it's not that pretty, and you can get extension like you can with Firefox

Mozilla IS Firefox.

We're not interested in your fanboyism. We need to eliminate a problem. If Firefox is the problem, we need to know. If it's something else, eliminating Firefox as a potential candidate will help us narrow down the search. Either way he can put Mozilla back in later once we find the problem.
