Yeah EL wires are nice. Seen it on many many things. Cheapy look, some use them for creating cheap angel eyes. They are quite effective, and affordable too.

Thats actually a good idea, but if you dont make it extremely round, it will look stupid.

Im thinking he means what you see on the newer BMW's, where theres a Halo of light around one of the circles inside the headlight.
