The only way you might be able to do this is with S-video out from the Computer to the TV, and then using an audio signal on a seperate line.

So you do have a VGA input on your TV(the blue connection like what your monitor uses) If so, read up on it in the manual. It's got to be one of the input modes.

Also, you didn't specify how you connected it. Where you using your current computer? Was it setup as the primary or secondary monitor(if you had two outputs) If it was setup as secondary, you might need to simply enable it though the advanced display setup.

And don't use S-Video if you can use VGA. The quality is MUCH lower.

if your computer is the one in your sig, then you definetly do have an S-video port. I'm not sure if 7800gt's have vivo, if not, then the S-video port is probably the one between your two other outputs (1 DVI, 1 VGA?). If it has vivo, then you connect a special vivo connector, should be included with your card, into the vivo port between the 2 other outputs, then you plug the s-video cable into the S-video out port.

diduknowthat - I'm quite sure all 7800GT's have Vivo... That in/out cable can be confusing

Lol true, look very closely on the connector, mine has a little arrow on it pointing in and out, but still took me a few minutes to figure things out
