Default Un-installing

there is a "free aol email" desktop on my icon. when i try to delete it it says i have to uninsatll it. i can't find the prog in the add/remove progs thing..any help?

It could be just a link to a website where you sign up for it. Check what kind of file it is.

If it's a program shortcut, right click on the icon, click properties. Click "Find Target", and look in that folder for an uninstall file.

You can't it says you have to go to add/remove progs to get rid of it..and i can't find it in there..
