I am trying to reinstall windows xp on my hard drive, I have got as far as coping files and then the screen goes blank. Could it be that the hard drive is faulty. I don't think the fault is with the computer it's self as I have installed windows xp on another hard drive today but it only has 2gb which is not big enough.I have a maxtor 30gb using a ide connection. Any help would be welcome, as I am getting ready to throw it through the window.
