Hello. can anyone tell me the best way to copy one hard drive to another.
I have a maxtor 80gb hard drive and want to use a 160gb hard drive, I then want to give my daughter my 80gb hard drive and want to copy from her hard drive to my 80gb .Someone told me to copy and drag to new hard drive ,how do I do that??? or would it be best to use Norton ghost or is the a better program to use. Thank you |

It depends if you want to copy files from one HD to the other. Or if you want to copy a whole operating system.
If you want to just copy files, you could simply plug it in and drag the files over. It will show up in my computer as a d or e drive. You will ofcoarse need to format a new drive.
