I am building a cheap $500 to $600 budget computer. I am basing it off of Toms Hardware's $500 game pc build. this is what I have so far
Motherboard - 1ASRock 939Dual-VSTA Socket 939 ULi M1695 ATX AMD Processors - AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1.8GHz Socket 939 Processor Memory - 2 sticks of Patriot 512MB 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Hard Drives - Western Digital Caviar SE WD800JB 80GB 7200 RPM IDE Ultra ATA100 Power Supplie - SeaSonic S12-330 ATX12V 330W DVD - LITE-ON Black ATAPI/E-IDE DVD-ROM Drive Model SHD-16P1S I am looking for a 256 Video card like they suggest but the one they have doesn't fit my needs. They say to use (eVGA 256-A8-N340-TX Geforce 6600 256 MB) I need one like this but that I can hook up to my TV as well. I want to use this system on my tv like a console system. Next I'm looking for a way to hook up the Audio to the Tv as well (Not sure if I need a sound card or just a plug). Finally I am still looking for a cool looking case for this whole thing. I already have the mouse keyboard and operating system and don't need the monitor like I said before I want to use the TV. Any and all advice is welcome. |
