That is comparing X2's to Pentium D's...the X2's are faster than pentium D's...but Core 2 Duos are faster than both.

I prefer hitachi hard drives they are a bit faster and I still think that a raid config is faster than one hard drive. also I like amd because of the link above. and I could probly get a sli mb for $150 just to leave room to expand.

Dude...you're being ignorant,the core 2 duos are faster than the Amd X2s...the config i posted would beat out one with an X2 proc.

Well its has intels top Intel Core 2 Extreme and amd still out performs...

I just alwas thought that Amd was better than intel for gaming and intel was better for multitasking...

Well Amd's X2s arent very new...the core 2 duos are the newest processors out right now,therefore they are faster,and by a very noticeable amount.
