Hi all! I have recently bought a new pair of powered stereo speakers for my HP laptop and I notice that the sound produced was distorted and scratchy. I am using "soundmax" as built in by the HP manafacturer. I am sure the problem does not lie with the speakers because I tested it with my mp3 player and it works clear. I have also checked with my device manager properties for this device and there were no problems found. So my question is: should I buy a USB/PCMCIA notebook PC Card as a replacement for the old card or should I uninstall the old card and/or is the USB/PCMCIA a Plug and Play Device at the same time.
This is my first post. I appreciate any form of help. Thanks! |
