Default High quality output sound cards

Hi,
I am currently building a Hi-Fi sound system (real high fidelity, not $120 complete system hifi) and i was wondering what soundcards on the market these days would be best for an input to my system. I have a pioneer amp with digital optical and coaxial inputs, and rc connector jacks. But i am really looking for the best sound qulity that i can get, my amp has a THD of about 0.05% so i dont want to waste that with a crappy input...
any suggestions would be great, thanks. (ps, im in australia and have a budget of about $100USD for the card.

thanks
