Default xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) = XP?

Hey!
I have this simple question. While my teacher was explaining biochemistry, we came up to a cancer causing problem called xeroderma pigmentosum or XP. So it bumped into my head that i have a good amount of computer knowledge but i dont know what XP stands for in windows XP.
So, anyone knows that?
Thanks.
