Default help quick please..

I have an HP 7845 with an...810E chipset in it by ASUS i do believe..

It says PC100 ram but I was wondering if i could put in PC133? it seems like those are often interchangable... sorry if its a dumb question

Yea, you can put in the PC133 stick, but it will only run at maximum supported speed of your motherboard, which is PC100.

Thank goodness it's backwards compatible. Trying to find PC100 RAM is like trying to find a hair on Sinead O'Connor. Just ain't happening.

Well your motherboard does not necessarily limit the RAM speed to PC100. But what Filip said, yes you can use it.

edit: i see Sir Kenin beat me to it

BTW, I have some PC100 RAM for sale if you want it...
