Default Building Comp Need Input

I'm going to build a new computer in about two weeks, I've pretty much got all my parts picked out. I would just like any input, tell me if you can see any compatiblity crapups, or improvment suggestions. A hundred bucks either way won't kill me. This is my first build and I would appreciate any input. Also I'd like to now what would be better: onboard sound with this MoBo, or Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2.

Thank you,
Marine_Bryan

i would go with a celeron processor. they are much more stable and have the ability to be overclocked at an alarming rate.

Um, no. Ignore that. The X2 will kill the Celeron.
You might want to consider getting a 4200 X2 or 3800 X2 and then upgrading the graphics card IF this computer is for gaming.
Can you specify what its for?
Also the Audigy 2 is better

Alright back to the point, ignore Stringer. He has no knowledge of computers whatsoever. So far, I think there is no onboard sound that beats the Audigy 2.
Also you PSU comes with the case right? Check the amperages, especially on the 12v. You might want to think about getting a new one if that one's bad.

the X2 wouldn't just kill the celeron, it would torcher it first.
get a core 2 duo though. they're much better. just sold my X2 3800+ which was overclocked to a 5000+ (2.6ghz) just so i could buy an e6300. hope i get a good one (each and every one overclocks differently)
good luck with that though, seems like a well balanced system, and remember, and upgrade in the video card will make all the difference for games!
also, if you want the highest quality in games, i suggest 2gb of memory. 1gb will cut it for high quality, or medium quality though.. but it wont cut it for maximum or ultra quality.

True that. I'm using a Core 2 also. It would be better getting a core 2 and overclocking it, even mildly. It would also be cheaper to get a e6300 or e6400 than the 4600+.

Please tell me your joking... an X2 would be a Celeron even at it's highest overclock.

The Sempron is even better then the Celeron at games.
