CCleaner clears your temp files, internet cache, etc, plus it has a registery cleaner function. There are probably better ones out there, but it's what I use.

I've used several registry cleaners, and have found that they dont give you a big boost of performance for the risk of deleting a file needed.

RegScrubXP I sue both, they work fine. With CCleaner though, make sure you know what your are erasing. If you check everything, you will lose soem configurations/settings that are annoying to reset.
