I have an IBM Thinkpad T30. I am using a dialup connection. I don't know what to do to make this wireless. I've been told I can just hook up to a wireless phone jack. Anyone have a clue? I talked to a computer shop and got several answers, all conflicting. Does anyone actually know how to do this on a dialup? I was told I don't need a router, etc. because it's dialup.
Thanks for your input. Rita |

Hi:
Yes there are wireless phone jacks. They are very handy for things like Tivo so you don't have to run a phone line all through your house. I am not trying to get the dialup to work, I am trying to turn my notebook into a wireless notebook via dialup (if that's possible). Thanks for your input. Rita |
