xp pro rebooting during any installs!!!
I was having this problem a few days ago so I reformatted my C: partition and reinstalled XP, but the same thing happens! I cannot install any programs...as soon as the progress bars light up, it reboots! I didn't know if this was software related, or something with cooling, or the HDD, maybe something else???

Have a look in the event viewer, see if there are any problems occuring when you go to install.
