Default It is just wrong.

OK. I just got my hardrive and external enclosure today. The thing is that the hardrive's Interface does not fit the interface of the enclosure.

Here is the link for the hardrive and the enclosure.

Can some one help me find an enclosure for the hard drive on newegg please.

Are these the right?

The interface for the hardrive is SATA 3.0Gb/s

The interface for the external enclosure is IDE

Thanks.

OK, I got the enclosure today and poped the hardrive in. I connected it to my laptop and turn on the power on the enclosure, i can hear it starting up and fell the disk spining.
The thig is that the hardrive does not show up on My computer.
My laptop only reconized the USB device once and so far nothing. I try to turn off the external enclosure and starting it up again but nothing.
I went into the computer manigment but the external hardrive does not show up on the disk management too.

any ideas?

thanks
