It is just wrong.
OK. I just got my hardrive and external enclosure today. The thing is that the hardrive's Interface does not fit the interface of the enclosure.

Are these the right? The interface for the hardrive is SATA 3.0Gb/s The interface for the external enclosure is IDE Thanks. |

OK here is the one that i want to get. Just to want makesure that i don't get the wrong one again.

OK, I got the enclosure today and poped the hardrive in. I connected it to my laptop and turn on the power on the enclosure, i can hear it starting up and fell the disk spining.
The thig is that the hardrive does not show up on My computer. My laptop only reconized the USB device once and so far nothing. I try to turn off the external enclosure and starting it up again but nothing. I went into the computer manigment but the external hardrive does not show up on the disk management too. any ideas? thanks Last edited by ANNR; 09-28-2006 at 10:48 PM. |

Something should have come with a disk if not download a driver and then it should be recongized
