I have the xion II case with green LED's, not that i really care about the lights or anything, but i got a deal on the case and it has the clear side window and all so i dont really mind it. What i do mind tho is that the grey paint inside stands out like a sore thumb. I was wondering, if i took everything out of the case, taped off anything leftover, and spraypainted it a colore that matched or something, if the paint would absorb too much heat and make my case even hotter. Was wondering if anyone has tried painting the inside of a case before and if it had any negative effects. i dont really care if i paint it, but i think it would look much better seeing how the side of the case is wide open anyhow.
you think it'l increase the ambient temperature inside the case, thus making my temps higher??? thanks in advance ohh and what do you think is better...my case comes with a 120mm intake fan and 120mm fan pushing out...(also an 80mm intake on the side). the manual says you can swap the 120's each for 2 80mm fans...would using 2 intake and 2 output 80 mm fans have better airflow than the crappy 120's that come with it. wondering which would give my case better airflow...i guess it depends on the amount of air thats moved by each fan in particular, just wondering if anyone has tried both options and noticed a difference...thanks.

no, i don't think paint will have any effect on temp. try this paint:
http://www.xoxide.com/www.xoxide.com/paint.html 120mm fans push more air than an 80mm fan, so you can slow it down to achieve the same effect only quieter. i think 2 80's would be louder than 1 120. |

If you are going to use spray cans out of a retail store you will more likely make a mess from not being able to evenly coat the interior. Then you would also have to worry about the paint used. That could become far worse then seeing runs if the paint starts to peel. The paint at the link above is specifically intended for pcs cases and hardwares.
