ive got pretty much the same problem. i have a diminsion 4600, and i wanna be able to play games on it(TESOblivion). its also slower'n hell.heres the specs i can find, more of an order form really. Is there a way to make it faster, or do i just need a new one? Cause if i need a new one, i wanna build it.

You should make a new thread reguarding this, as you want a gaming computer, and he wants a CAD computer.

Considering that money is no object :

Intel's E8400(or better) and of course a mobo that supports that socket
2GB 800MHz RAM(or more)
8800GT
Of course you need the DVD drive and case and atleast 550 PSU. Hard drive you already have
